William G. Wetenkamp, age 73. died on December 14, 2012 after a short battle with cancer, in Sun City, AZ. He was born on January 13, 1939, the son of William W. and Mary Wetenkamp of Plattsmouth, NE. He grew up in Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1958. He married Mary Ann Wohlfarth on August 18, 1963. They moved to Arizona in 1973, and have since made it their home. Bill started working for Western Electric in Omaha in 1966 and retired in 1994 from the Phoenix plant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Ruckman. Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; 3 daughters, Diane (Dan), Jeannie, and Vicki (Dennis); 7 grandchildren, Cassandra, Kyle, Alex, Jordyn, Allyson, Corey, and Marc; and 1 great grandson, Noah. He is also survived by his sister, Marlene (Louis), Vista, CA; and his brother-in-law, Victor Ruckman, Council Bluffs, IA; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services: The family will be receiving friends and relatives on January 5, 2013 at a Celebration of Life.
