Donald Edward Trimble

Donald Edward Trimble, 70, of Aubrey, TX, died on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Denton Regonal Medical Center. Mr. Trimble was born on August 15, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska to William Edward and Lorrainne (Thompson) Trimble. He was a Sergeant in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW in Omaha, NE. He was the co-creator of the Rainbow Girls Softball League in Omaha and was an avid hunter even taking to time to conduct hunters safety educational programs to young hunters. He worked for several years in Quality Control for Lucent Technologies. He was married to Nell Lowry on September 3, 1965 in Colorado. Donald is survived by his wife, Nell Trimble of Aubrey; daughter, Paulla Jakobi of Tallahassee, FL; son, Donald L. Trimble of Omaha, NE; stepsisters, Carol Philby of Omaha, NE, Norma Jean Doyle of Kerby, OR; four grandchildren, Spencer, Emma and Tate Jakobi, Braden Trimble.

Services: A celebration of life will be held at his home in Aubrey, Texas on October 27, 2012.
