Lorna Marie Stoller Stroy died December 12, 2014 at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 21 days in Louisville, Nebraska. She was born February 19, 1924 at Brandon, Iowa, the daughter of Philip and Effa Stoller. At the age of 2 years she moved with her family to Smith County Kansas. She graduated from Smith Center High School and taught rural schools for 4 years before becoming a station agent in Murdock, Nebraska for the Rock Island Railroad. Lorna also worked for Western Electric for 20 years. On January 21, 1945 she was united in marriage with Elbert Stroy. This union was blessed with 4 children, Carol, Philip, Peggy and Marilyn. Lorna was confirmed on November 28, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church at Murdock, Nebraska. She has been an active member teaching Sunday School, a member of Ladies Aid and also a member of Boosters. Elbert and Lorna loved to travel together to many parts of the world.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert, her parents Philip and Effa Stoller, 2 brothers Glen Stoller and Morris Stoller, 3 sisters Letha Yerkes, Lucille Gouldie, and Marguerite Duntz, and son-in-law Bill Boes.

She is survived by her children Carol Boes, of San Mateo, CA; Philip and Judy Stroy, of Murdock, NE; Peggy and George Mills, of Raymond, NE; and Marilyn and Danny Kerans, of Cedar Creek, NE; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 sister Donna and Thaine Tomlinson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation: Monday, December 15, 2014 from 1:00 until 9:00, with family greeting friends from 6:00 until 8:00 all at the Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Chapel, Louisville, Nebraska

Services: Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Murdock, Nebraska, with burial in the Church Cemetery.

Memorials: Suggested to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
