Deloise A. (Barnes) Stinson, age 70, was born November 4, 1946 in Waterloo, Iowa. She passed away November 9, 2016 surrounded by family at Josie Harper Hospice House. Deloise was known by most as “Dee”. She is preceded in death by her father David (Beatrice) Barnes, mother Irene Duncally Harris, son Lance Stinson, and sister Crystal Barnes. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 52 years, UB “Cid” Stinson, daughter Kelly Coleman, granddaughter, Sierra (James) Boyd, great-grandsons, James and Jalen Boyd, brother Tony Barnes of Waterloo, IA, nephew Bishop Barnes of Waterloo, IA and niece Whitney Stinson of Atlanta, GA. Cousin companion Deborah Green, Omaha, Nebraska.

Visitation: November 13, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 2-4 P.M.

Services: November 14, 2016 at 12:30 P.M. at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 5501 N. 50th St, Omaha.

Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials: Directed to the family.


Dee retired, 21 Sep 2001.
