Leon "Jim" L. Parker

Parker, Leon "Jim" L.
25 Apr 1935 - 5 Aug 2011

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired after 30 years of service with AT&T in 1989.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Jim is survived by his wife, Kay Parker, of 49 years; daughters, Penny Jo (Kevin) Shannon of Newport Beach, CA, Kelly (Sam) Juvrud & Kimberly (Kurt Edwards) Parker of Omaha; sons, Tim Parker of San Diego, CA, Dennis (Christine Clinton) Parker, Douglas Parker, Donn (Felicia) Parker, David (Debi) Parker all of Omaha; eighteen grandchildren & five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rita Feser of Omaha, Bonnie Parker of Apple Valley, CA; brother-in-law, Michael Best of Omaha; many nieces, nephews and great friends.

Visitation, Wednesday, 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel).

Funeral Service, Thursday, 10:00 AM at the mortuary.

Interment, Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors provided by Millard American Legion Post #374 and Millard VFW Post #8334.

Memorials can be directed to the family.
