Patricia A. McCauley, age 69, of Trenton, passed away at the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Dec. 29, 2014.

She was born in Buffalo, New York, on Oct. 1, 1945, to William and Anne (Tyrcz) Bauer. She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1963.

Pat was married to John Abramo Sr. and to this union four children were born: DeAnna, Denise, Joseph and Johnny Jr. The family moved from Buffalo to Omaha in 1978, where Pat worked for AWS Well Drilling Company.

On May 22, 1982, Pat married Dennis McCauley and they moved to their home in Trenton in 2004. Pat was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, taking walks and watching nature and wildlife. She loved to fish.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Cecelia Rose McCauley.

She is survived by her husband Dennis of Trenton; three daughters, DeAnna and husband Mike Murcek, Denise Abramo and Scott Hansen and Amanda McCauley, all of Omaha; two sons, Joseph and Jennifer Haeg Abramo of Omaha and Johnny Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Meade, Nebraska; nine grandchildren, Ty Murcek, Zane Murcek, Jackson Abramo, Colton Abramo, Ashley Brant, Brianna Abramo and Austin Abramo.

Visitation: 7 P.M. December 31, 2014 and Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in Trenton.

Service: Rosary will be recited at St. James Catholic Church in Trenton on Jan. 1, 2015, at 7 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. on Jan. 2, 2015, at St. James Catholic Church in Trenton with Father Lothar Gilde officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials: To may be left to either the Madonna Hospital or St. James Catholic Church in Pat's name.

Inurnment: A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.


Patricia transferred here when the Buffalo Works close. She worked in the protector during the 90's.
