The Villages — Gerald Phillip Kucinski, 71, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011.

Mr. Kucinski was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and moved to The Villages from Omaha, Neb. nine years ago. He was a retired Master Molder for AT&T, retiring after 40 years without missing one day of work; member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, where he was a minister to the sick, Eucharistic minister and worked with the Pierogi Patrol; and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Buffalo Club of Omaha.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; son, Jerry, Olathe, Kan.; and sister, Patricia Kucinski, Buffalo.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-The Villages.

Memorials may be made to St. Theresa’s Soup Kitchen.
