Ruth A. Jurgens, age 62 of Wahoo, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Saunders
Medical Center in Wahoo.
She was born May 21, 1948 in Beatrice, NE to Henry and Helen (Langdale)
Jurgens and graduated in 1966 from Wahoo High School. She was employed at
Lucent Technologies in Omaha for 30 years. Ruth was an active volunteer for
several organizations throughout her life and served on an Advisory
Committee for the Nebraska Head Start Program and coached and judged for
Odyssey of the Mind.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Helen Jurgens, sister
Bette Rezek, and sister-in-law Sandra Jurgens.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dawna and Bob Miller of
Ceresco; grandchildren Kordell, Maiya and Alliana Miller of Ceresco;
great-nephew “Grandson” Zavier Jurgens of Wahoo; brothers Richard Jurgens of
Wahoo, and Bill (Linda) Jurgens of Millard; brother-in-law Gary Rezek of
Weston; aunt Ruth Bendt of Luverne, MN; nephews Jeff (Chris) Rezek of Wahoo,
J Jurgens of Omaha, Tanner (Amanda) Jurgens of Valley, and Nic Jurgens of
Omaha; niece Cassie Jurgens; great-nephew Evan Rezek of Wahoo.

Ruth worked in the sheet metal shop at one time, she retired 15 Nov 1999.
