Bethel Lorraine (Jacobson) Geason

Geason, Bethel Lorraine (Jacobson)
14 Sep 1923 - 1 Sep 2011

Passed away Thursday at age 87 in Duluth, MN at the Benedictine Health Center. Beth was born in Duluth to Amos and Verna Jacobson. She graduated from Morgan Park High School, and in May of 1944 married Wallace Geason at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York, NY during World War II. They built a home at Pike Lake outside Duluth and lived there until moving to Omaha, NE in 1958, where they were both employed at Western Electric for many years. At retirement they relocated to Apollo Beach, FL, where they enjoyed nearly 20 years before returning to Duluth. Bethel was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; her parents; and her sister, Geraldine Wold. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Pullen, Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Noreen and Stephen Conway, St. Paul, MN; sisters, Ruby, Crosby, MN, and Darlene (Walter) Fulton, Duluth; brother Thomas (Betty) Jacobson, Hobart, IN; nieces; nephews; and special friends, Becca Hunt and Erin Engstrom, both of Duluth. Special thanks go to the staff of the Benedictine Health Center for their many years of love and care.
