Richard Theodore 'Cef' Cefrey

Cefrey, Richard Theodore 'Cef'

Richard was born in Springfield, New Jersey and partially-raised in Nyack, New York. When the family moved to Omaha, Dick attended Dundee and Oakdale schools. He graduated from Westside High School and University of Nebraska at Omaha. He was preceded in death by his devoted mother, Bernadette, and father, Earle. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Elaine; son, Ethan; daughter, Holly; in-laws, Judith Conway and Daniel Hlavacek; nephews: Michael, Daniel, Caley, and Darby. He leaves behind lifelong friends: Robert Justsen, Val Pleskac, and Virgil Jochimson.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 13th, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., with vigil Service at 7 P.M., all at the West Center Chapel.

Services: Mass Of Christian Burial will be, Thursday, January 14th at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 16701 “S” St. (168th & “Q”).

Interment: Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, to St. Stephen the Martyr Parish, Nebraska Wildlife Rehab, Omaha Humane Society, or Omaha Missions.
