Robert was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Maggie Carter. Survived by wife of 57 years, Marcy Carter; children, Robb (Lee) Carter, Shelli (Mark) Muldoon, Doug (Lori) Carter; brother, Richard Fushia; grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, Scott, Molly, Valya, Tyler, and Amanda .

Visitation: Wednesday 6-8 PM at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel).

Services: Thursday 11 AM at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church (15005 Q St.) Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #374 and VFW Post #8334.

Interment: Evergreen Memorial Park at a later date.

Memroials: In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the church or Alegent Hospice.
