John retired from the Omaha Works on 31 Aug 2000. After his retirement from the Works, John moved back to New York and he was living in Alden, New York. Jackie talked to his sister and she said they weren’t having a memorial service just graveside services. She told me the mortuary was Brown Mortuary in Alden handled the preparation for burial but there was nothing in their obits. Alden newspaper also didn't list anything. We were told that he died from a combination of heart disease and diabetes.
