Henry A. "Hank" Anderson, Jr., 76 years, of Cedar Bluffs, NE died Monday, April 27, 2015 at Nye Legacy in Fremont, NE. Hank was born in 1938 in Little Sioux, Iowa to Henry and Olga (McColley) Anderson, Sr. His family moved to Colon, NE in 1948. He was a 1957 graduate of Wahoo High School in Wahoo, NE. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957 to 1960. Hank married Beverly Roumph on January 26, 1963 in Cedar Bluffs and the couple then moved to Cedar Bluffs. Beverly died December 22, 2010.

Hank was employed at Lucent Technologies (formerly A T & T) in Omaha for 40 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cedar Bluffs and member of the IBEW Local #1974 Union. Hank enjoyed fishing, yard work and loved animals.

He is survived by sons, Shawn and wife, Laura Anderson of Fremont and Bret and wife Lenor Anderson of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers, T.J. Rife of Honolulu, HI, Louie Anderson of Texarkana, TX, Charles "Chuck" Anderson of Ashland, NE and George Anderson of Fremont; 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Christopher and Austin Thompson; and care giver and family friend, Cristy Struthers of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Rosary: 7 P.M., Thursday, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Cedar Bluffs. A book signing will be Thursday from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. with the family receiving friends on Thursday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Services: 10:30 A.M., Friday, May 1, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cedar Bluffs. Msgr. Daniel Seiker will officiate.

Interment: 2 P.M., Friday, at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, NE with military honors conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of V.F.W. Post #854 and American Legion Post #20.

Memorials: Dodge County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
