Eileen Marie Ackerman

Ackerman, Eileen Marie

Eileen was born March 29,1932 in Glenwood, Iowa to the late Harry A. and Edith D. (Enewold) Smith. She retired in 1997 from Western Electric-AT&T after 24 years of service. Eileen is a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Omaha.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Edith Smith; brother, Alfred Smith; sisters, Helen Dainty and Betty Coniglio; husband, Roger Ackerman whom she married May 1, 1977; son-in-law, Jerry Dale Clark.

Survivors include daughters, Kathy (Greg) Krauth of Crescent, Iowa, Cindy Clark of Neola, Iowa, Debbie (Rick) Stanton of Valley, Neb.; 7 grandchildren, Aaron Krauth, Bob (Shonna) Krauth, Adam (Shavonne) Krauth, Jacob (Rebecca) Clark, David (Jessica) Clark, Benjamin (Ashley) Clark, Katelyn Stanton; 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 2 - 4 P. M., Sunday, Cutler-O'Neill Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory, 545 Willow Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA
